Quality management

A small step for you but a large step for the sustainability of your enterprise. The introduction of a quality assurance system brings order into the company and provides a basis to remain on the market. The hurdle is much lower than you might think.
  • Introducing systems
    • Preparation of agricultural/horticultural enterprises (co-operatives, organisations) or of downstream manufacturers/traders of plant raw material for an accreditation or inspection (ISO 9001:2000, ISO 22000, IFS, GACP WHO, GACP EMEA, ISSC-MAP, EurepGAP, QS, GAP EUROPAM, GWP EUROPAM, HACCP, EG-Öko-VO).
The preparation can include, depending upon initial stage and intensity, the acquisition of current conditions, the description of the target state (all necessary documents like a handbook, processes/operations, operating instructions, forms, various inventory files, calibration instructions, job specifications etc.). Furthermore review-, customer satisfaction-, supplier assessment-, training plan-, improvement- (CIP), measurment- and interpretation statistics- templates etc. can be compiled.
The elaboration can be done collective with the responsible persons/groups or alone. For a lasting change however a co-operation is recommended.
  • Inspections
    • Enterprises working according standards without certification can be checked for conformity. This standards are in particular national and international guidelines among the production/collection of medicinal and aromatic plants (GACP WHO, GACP EMEA, ISSC-MAP, GAP EUROPAM, GWP EUROPAM). This happens usually in a continuous improvement process of serial audits regarding product quality (to remedy critical and non-critical deviations).
  • Risk management (HACCP-principle)
    • The planned control of negative influences has a central position in quality assurance. In a multi-level procedure possible threats for the desired quality parameters of the final product are identified and controlled. An advanced risk management covers the entire environmental conditions of a production process from site selection to distribution or just specific sub-ranges, which are demanded by different standards.
